I think the balance of lap times is competitive and a lot can happen over 12 hours, commented Tulloch. I think its less intimidating having a 12 hour event because you havent got to make the pass right at that moment when you come up behind a car like in a sprint meeting. Its a bit more strategy of making the pass when you can.
With just one night to go before their first Bathurst 12 Hour, the Motorsport Services team of Scott ODonnell, Bob Grove and Allan Dippie are excited about what lies ahead while also been cautious of severity of Mt Panorama.
ODonnell explained, You have to treat this circuit with respect. Endurance races are all about finishing. If you can finish you usually get a good result. Theres no use been a hero in the first two hours!
The team has overcome electrical gremlins early in the week and aims to take a Class C podium finish on debut at the event.
Tomorrows race will see Steve Owen with brothers James and Theo Koundouris off pole position after setting 2:26.8553. Action kicks off from 8:30 am local time.
