 Red Bull British Grand Prix

Vettelmay09_1.jpg

It is now the time for another team to step up and dominate and Red Bull took this challenge and finished first and second in the British Grand Prix last night.  It was a top performance from Sebastien Vettel who was fastest in qualifying and could not be caught in the race coming home in front of his team mate Mark Webber.

Local fans were expecting a Brawn GP domination and an English victory but Jenson Button struggled in both qualifying and the race to come home sixth.  His team mate Rubens Barricello fared better finishing on the podium in third.

Ferrari's Felipe Massa pulled off an unexpected fourth while McLaren had a dismal perfomance with Lewis Hamilton sixteenth and Heikki Kovalainen retiring.

Button stills holds the lead in the drivers championship with his team mate Barricello second, twenty three points behind.
